David Jaffee, Professor of Bard Graduate Center for Studies in
the Decorative Arts, Design and Culture (New York) gave a talk
at Komaba. The title of his talk was "Many Roads to the Factory:
How Provincial Craftsmen in the Antebellum Northern United
States Manufactured a New Industrial Society."
