BBC Proms 2008 at Royal Albert Hall

BBC Proms for tonight presented the following program:
Nikolaj Znaider violin
Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester
Sir Colin Davis conductor
Beethoven Violin Concerto in D major
Sibelius Symphony 2 in D Major

I was at up on the gallery. Also, the arena just in front of the stage
is accessible in a discount 5 pounds! Special artistic experiences
can be shared by the public who spare this much for a program.

Sunday at St. Paul's Cathedral

I attended the Sunday evening service at St. Paul's. Organ music was
grandiose and lofty resonating up to the Dome ceilings.

"Every day of the year, we are delighted to welcome many hundreds
of visitors to St. Paul's from different parts of the world. . . . St. Paul's is
the Mother Church of the Diocese of London and worship has been offered
on this site since AD 604. We belong to the Church of England and
the worldwide Anglican Communion. " (Welcome message of the church)

Cafe Paul in the square. Looks familiar in Tokyo as well.

London from the Thames River

The Tower of LondonAn utterly ugly building! This futuristic building is one of the strange
architecture on the river side. They surely destroy the otherwise
beautiful historic London cityscape. Who is designing the city?
Cannot anyone stop strange buildings to damage the Thames
river view?
